Via Fudzilla: “Intel is planning to launch Penryn generation in both dual core Wolfdale and quad core Yorkfield edition on the 20th of January. The cheapest dual core will sell for $169, while the most expensive one, which will be clocked over 3GHz will sell for only $268.“
If you’re just as tired as I am when I mention AMD in Intel articles and vice-versa, well I really can’t help it. Most of moves done by one are calculated to counteract, in this case Intel has waited patiently and is deciding to rain on AMD’s Spider launch with these new processors.
