Futuremark has been making some waves in recent days with news on their upcoming games studio and screen shots from their Vista and DirectX 10-only 3DMark Vantage.
There has been some big news out of the Futuremark camp this week. First off they announced their own games studio. Their intent is to bring their skills from demo creation over to making “world class” games that will run on modest to enthusiast systems. No dates or time frames yet on anything from them, however the website is live.
It will be interesting to see if they can pull some of the stunning imagery from the demos and create an actual enjoyable game that people like, as gameplay > graphics any day of the week.
On top of this news today we find screen shots of their upcoming DirectX 10 + Vista exclusive 3DMark Vantage benchmarking application. They look absolutely incredible. No date or time frame is set for release of this application but rest assured we will keep you posted on anything we find out.
