I am sure this is a question that was asked many a time and a real solid answer is deserved, but was never given.  Somewhere in early summer things slowed down more than usual for the site.

There were many factors involved in this, but none so great as the fact that our physical lives took a toll on our virtual activities.  For some of us, it was bills that needed to be paid and thus another job took precedence.  For others, it was school or the lack of other people’s contributions.  For me, it was sheer exhaustion.  After I left GameRiot, I spent a few weeks just spending time with family and friends because I had not been able to do so in years due to the fact I worked so many jobs and so many hours.

During these few weeks, my love for the offline increased and thus consumed my life.  I still am very much loving the idea of being less involved in the virtual world, but at the same time I miss it.  I miss the tech, the publishing and our community.  Am I ready to strike a balance?  Definitely.

It would seem that due to the fact I disappeared, so did Jason Krueger and Oscar Meade.  This is fine and I completely understand.  They know they can return anytime if they like.  Thomas has intermittenly tried to keep the posting alive, but its much more than a one man job.  I am now promising to return to the game and be an active part of this team.  It will more than likely just be Shoes and I, but we are more than happy to accept help from an eager community member or two.  Be aware that this is not an offer to recieve “free hardware” and that it would be a 100% volunteer job.  The ads we run are 100% for keeping the site hosted and alive.    If you would still like to join the team, please email me at sgrubbs@fpslabs.com

Over the last few months that we have neglected this site, traffic has slimmed slightly, but impressively there are a number of regular forum members still.  That we appreciate and to be honest I like when traffic is down because it creates not only a challenge, but a sense of solidarity amongst are small but eager community.

Look forward to sincere return of the foremost beacon of integrity in the gaming hardware arena.  THank you for your support and its good to be back.

Sincerely,
